How we run Norman
Norman runs on the University of Oklahoma's calendar, and so does our dispatch here. Seven or eight Saturdays a year, Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium puts more than 80,000 people into a town of about 130,000 — and every one of them needs to get in and out. Game-day transportation is not a nice-to-have in Norman; it is the difference between tailgating and sitting in a queue on Lindsey Street.
Outside football season it is a steadier market: faculty and medical travel to Will Rogers, Campus Corner dinners, commencement in May, and parents moving students in and out in August. The I-35 run to the airport is about thirty minutes and unusually predictable.
What we know about Norman
- Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium seats over 80,000 — more than half the population of Norman on a home Saturday
- Lindsey Street and Highway 9 become effectively one-way after a game; we stage pickups north of campus instead
- Campus Corner's bars and restaurants sit within two walkable blocks, which makes it our standard single drop point for group nights
- Norman is home to the National Weather Center, which brings a steady stream of conference and research travel to Will Rogers

Norman, answered
Where do you pick up after an OU home game?
North of campus, away from the stadium. Lindsey Street and Highway 9 become effectively one-way after a game, so meeting you at a staged point north is faster than a driver trying to reach the stadium itself.
How long is the drive from Norman to Will Rogers?
Thirty to forty minutes up I-35. It is one of the most predictable runs we operate — unlike the Edmond side of the metro, it rarely surprises us.
Do you handle OU move-in and commencement?
Yes. August move-in and May commencement are two of our busiest Norman dates, and both are worth booking several weeks ahead.
